Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about buying used parts, joining as a supplier, and how orders work on SEKRAB.AE.

For buyers

Is SEKRAB.AE free for buyers?+
Creating an account and submitting part requests is free. You only pay when you accept a supplier quote and complete checkout.
Are all parts used?+
Yes. SEKRAB.AE is a marketplace for used auto spare parts from verified scrap yards and suppliers. Condition grades (A–D), warranty days, and photos are shown on each quote.
How do I know a supplier is trustworthy?+
Only approved suppliers can quote on the platform. Each has a public store profile with ratings from completed orders, emirate location, and verified business details from onboarding.
Can I request a part without knowing the exact name?+
Yes. Describe the part as clearly as you can, add vehicle make/model/year, photos, and notes. Suppliers will confirm fitment in their quotes.
What if the part does not match the quote?+
You can open a dispute from your order page. Our refund and dispute policy applies — see the Legal section in the footer for details.

For suppliers

How do I join as a supplier?+
Visit the For Suppliers page, choose a subscription package, complete onboarding with your trade license and business details, and wait for admin approval before quoting.
How do I receive part requests?+
Once approved and subscribed, open requests from buyers across the UAE appear in your supplier portal. You can filter by emirate and submit structured quotes with price, grade, and warranty.
When do suppliers get paid?+
Payouts are released after the buyer confirms receipt. See the Supplier Payout Policy in the footer for full terms.

Orders & payments

Which emirates do you cover?+
Suppliers operate across all seven UAE emirates. Filter the store directory or specify your emirate when submitting a part request.
Can I pick up instead of delivery?+
Yes. Set your delivery preference when submitting a request — delivery, pickup, or either. Suppliers quote accordingly.
Is messaging kept on-platform?+
Yes. Order-related chat stays in SEKRAB.AE to protect both parties and maintain a record for disputes if needed.
